The following is a list of junior boarding schools throughout the nation which may be appropriate for your child. We provide this list as a courtesy to our visitors while Golden Tree Academy is undergoing development, and not yet operational. Traditional Boarding Schools
Traditional boarding schools are the most similar to the public school system. These schools are often best suited for students who are generally self-confident, athletic, and have slightly below average to slightly above average academic capabilities. Many also offer excellent programs for international students. Other types of students can fare well at these schools provided the right support structures are in place.
Military Schools
Military schools often provide a great deal of structure for their students. The only specific junior military school that we are aware of is listed below.

Specialty Schools
Specialty schools offer services for a distinct population. They are often smaller than traditional and military schools and therefore can offer individualized attention. The specialties vary from school to school and range from learning and behavioral disorders to gifted and arts programs. Those programs not supported by public funds are often more expensive than traditional and military schools.
